Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Jyro — the WhatsApp AI assistant and web dashboard operated by Ali Asif, a sole proprietorship based in Islamabad, Pakistan ("Jyro," "we," "us"). By signing up for Jyro, accessing the dashboard, or having Jyro configured on your behalf, you agree to these Terms.
Who these Terms apply to
- Clients — the businesses that pay for and operate Jyro. A Client's use of the Service, and any separate order form or service agreement they've signed, are both governed by these Terms.
- Dashboard users — the owners and staff a Client invites to access the dashboard. Using the dashboard means agreeing to these Terms, in addition to whatever a Client's own workplace policies require of them.
- A Client's customers, who message a Jyro-connected WhatsApp number, are not party to these Terms. Their relationship is with the Client, not with Jyro — the Client's own terms and privacy practices toward their customers apply, and Jyro's Privacy Policy explains how we handle their information on the Client's behalf.
The Service
Jyro provides an AI assistant that answers customer questions and books, reschedules, and cancels appointments over WhatsApp, configured with a Client's own hours, services, pricing, and policies, together with a web dashboard for staff to view and manage appointments and conversations. Each Client's assistant runs on their own dedicated WhatsApp Business number.
Accounts
Dashboard users must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep their login credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at ali.asif@usejyro.com if you suspect unauthorized access. A Client's owner is responsible for the staff they invite and the permissions granted to them.
Fees and payment
Setup fees and the monthly retainer for a Client are as agreed in the applicable order form or service agreement — these Terms don't set pricing themselves. Invoices are payable by the due date stated on them. We may suspend the Service if payment is significantly overdue, after giving notice. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or separately agreed in writing. We'll give reasonable advance notice before any change to a Client's pricing takes effect on their next billing cycle.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Jyro to:
- Send messages that violate WhatsApp's own Business Messaging Policy or Commerce Policy, including messaging customers who haven't opted in to receive them.
- Send spam, or content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or discriminatory.
- Attempt to interfere with, disable, or reverse-engineer the Service, or access it through means other than the interfaces we provide.
- Configure the assistant to provide medical, legal, or financial advice beyond what the Client is licensed to give directly.
A Client is responsible for the accuracy of the business information, services, pricing, and policies they configure into the assistant, and for obtaining any consent required under WhatsApp's policies or applicable law before their customers are messaged.
AI limitations
Jyro's assistant is powered by a third-party large language model and, like any AI system, can misunderstand a question or give an inaccurate or incomplete answer. It is a tool to handle routine questions and bookings, not a substitute for professional medical, legal, or financial judgment, and not a guarantee that every customer interaction will be handled correctly. Clients should review flagged and handed-off conversations and treat the assistant's output as something to be overseen, not relied on unconditionally.
Availability and third-party dependencies
Jyro depends on services we don't control, including Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, Google's Gemini API, and our cloud infrastructure providers. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we aren't responsible for outages, message delays, or account restrictions caused by these providers. A Client's WhatsApp Business Account and message templates are also subject to Meta's own review and enforcement, entirely outside our control — including suspension or restriction of a number for policy violations, which we cannot override.
Intellectual property
Jyro, including its software, branding, and underlying technology, belongs to Ali Asif. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of it to a Client. A Client retains ownership of the business information, content, and data they provide to configure and operate their assistant, and grants us a license to use it solely to provide the Service to them, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other's non-public business information confidential and use it only for purposes connected to the Service, except where disclosure is required by law.
Termination
Either party may end the relationship as set out in the applicable service agreement, or immediately if the other party materially breaches these Terms and doesn't correct it within a reasonable period after notice. On termination, a Client's data is handled according to the retention and deletion terms in our Privacy Policy. Fees accrued before termination remain payable.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ali Asif's total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the fees paid by the Client in the three months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost business, arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnification
A Client agrees to indemnify Ali Asif against claims arising from their misuse of the Service, the content or configuration they provide, or their violation of WhatsApp's policies or applicable law.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above, and where a change materially affects a Client, we will notify them directly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Islamabad, Pakistan have jurisdiction.
Entire agreement
These Terms, together with any order form or service agreement signed by a Client, make up the entire agreement between Ali Asif and the Client regarding the Service, and supersede any prior discussions on the same subject.
